I have safely circumnavigated the globe in a sail boat
You don't get too many delivery captains who have the sea miles and experiences gained from a circumnavigation. By crossing 3 oceans I've sailed in all types of conditions and navigated all sorts of waters. From wide open oceans, to reef-lined atolls to calm, shallow waterways, I have navigated them all.
I am a USCG Certified Captain, OUPV and 50T Masters upgrade with sail endorsement. In addition, I hold a CASA Yacht Skippers Certificate from Ocean Sailing Academy, Durban, South Africa. I served in the South African Navy aboard a Strikecraft in some of the most challenging seas you will ever experience. I competed in the 1996 Olympic Games representing South Africa in sailing. Most importantly, I have extensive experience cruising on many sailboats, both mono-hulls and catamarans, and have over 50,000 sea miles under my keel. I am an extremely safe, meticulous, careful, self-sufficient and capable boater who will treat your vessel as if it is my own.

Please note: For deliveries longer than a day that include overnight travel, 1 crew member is always required over and above a Captain and an additional fee would then apply. If sailing overnight passages (i.e. sailing 24/7) additional fees would also apply.
The additional amounts you will pay over and above my captain rates are all transport costs, including crew flights to and from the vessel, starting & returning from my home base, per diem per day if overnight travel required, the costs of any slip/mooring charges, fuel, port fees if applicable that may include customs and immigration.
