Personal Cruising Coach

If there is one thing I love in life, it is helping people achieve their dreams. As a former Olympic sailor, I know what it takes to achieve dreams. I was fortunate enough to achieve another major dream later on in my life by cruising around the world with my wife and two kids from April 2016 to June 2018. I am a great people person, ethical, compassionate, and motivated.  As your Cruising Coach I can help bring your dream of one day cruising closer to reality sooner than you think. By using my knowledge and experience you can save both time and money and zero in on the important fundamentals from the start. I will help transition your dream into goal setting, planning, executing and cruising. 

General Consulting

Together with my construction and engineering background, over 20 years of senior level management experience in the corporate world, and years of experience working on boats, I will ensure that what ever project I undertake, will be well thought out and executed correctly the first time around. Let me assist you in planning a project or with your boat maintenance needs. I've installed solar systems, water makers, generators and more.  I've trouble-shot hundreds of different problems and fixed them along the way. I have been around boats my entire life, and prior to our circumnavigation, I planned, designed and installed many systems aboard our 2011 Lagoon 400 catamaran myself. I then serviced and maintained everything aboard, as we navigated 33,000 miles around the world in some extremely remote locations.

  • Installing and servicing the 6KW diesel generator

  • Servicing our 20HP Yamaha outboard engine

  • Designed and installed a freshwater flushing system for Engines, Generator and Air-conditioning to extend their life & for extended layup situations

  • Installed and serviced the Spectra Watermaker

  • Designed and Installed 1,500 watt solar system

  • Designed and installed solar hot water system

  • Designed and Installed fuel transfer and polishing system

  • Installed high capacity emergency bilge pumps & bilge alarm system

  • Designed and installed hard top bimini over helm station

  • Installed a Washing Machine/Dryer combo unit

  • Installed Raymarine Radar, Chartplotter, and instrument package

  • Installed Iridium GO satellite communication hotspot
